Consuelo Vivares, conocida artísticamente como Chelo Vivares, es una actriz nacida en España, que ha desarrollado su carrera profesional, especialmente en televisión, en las dos últimas décadas del siglo XX y primera década del siglo XXI.

Biografía

Hija de actores, se inicia en el mundo del espectáculo en 1973 interviniendo en espectáculos musicales. Durante sus primeros años de actividad artística compagina teatro, radio, doblaje y publicidad. Realiza también una gira por diversas Universidades de Estados Unidos con una compañía teatral.
Tras trabajar durante unos meses en el Departamento de Asignación y Conservación de Telefónica, dónde coincidiría como compañera de despacho de Pedro Almodóvar, finalmente decide consagrarse profesionalmente a la interpretación y solicita una excedencia en la compañía de comunicación.
Continúa alternando sus papeles en publicidad y teatro con la televisión, donde interviene esporádicamente como actriz de reparto en series como La señora García se confiesa (1976) o Estudio 1.
Su gran oportunidad le llega sin embargo en 1983, cuando es seleccionada para dar vida al personaje de Espinete en la versión española del espacio infantil Barrio Sésamo. Durante los siguientes cinco años su voz se convierte en una de las más reconocidas de España al encarnar a un personaje que alcanzó el grado de fenómeno social entre la población infantil del país. Gracias a la popularidad de Espinete, Chelo Vivares recibió un Premio TP de Oro en 1984. El personaje alcanzó tanto éxito entre los niños españoles que, por ejemplo, Chelo Vivares, bajo el disfraz del erizo rosa, fue la encargada de leer el pregón de las fiestas de Navidad en la ciudad de Madrid el 21 de diciembre de 1984. En 1979 contrajo matrimonio con el también actor Juan Ramón Sánchez, fallecido en 2008, quien diera vida al personaje de Chema el panadero en Barrio Sésamo.
Tras la cancelación del espacio, se puso también el disfraz de Curro, la mascota de la Exposición Universal de Sevilla de 1992 y se ha dedicado sobre todo al doblaje, prestando su voz, entre otros, a Mirtle "la Llorona" en la saga de Harry Potter, a Amy en Futurama, a Tails en las series Las aventuras de Sonic el erizo, Sonic SATAM y Sonic X, a Baby Sinclair en Dinosaurios, a la actriz Allison Mack en la serie televisiva Smallville en el personaje de Chloe Sullivan, a Judy Winslow en Cosas de casa, a Stan Marsh en la serie South Park o a diversos personajes de la serie Los Simpson, como Ralph Wiggum, Maude Flanders y Todd Flanders. También dobló a Vicky Kaioh en la 3ª temporada de Sailor Moon y a Callie Torres de Anatomía de Grey.

Shirley Henderson (born 24 November 1965) is a Scottish actress. She is perhaps best known for her roles as Gail in Trainspotting, Jude in Bridget Jones's Diary and Moaning Myrtle in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Early life

Henderson was born in Forres, Moray, but grew up in Kincardine, Fife.^[1][2][3] As a child, she began singing in local clubs, at charity events, holiday camps and even a boxing contest.^[1][4] Having joined an after-school drama club,^[5] Henderson attended Fife College at the age of 16, where she completed a one-year course resulting in a National Certificate in Theatre Arts.^[6] She moved to London at 17 where she spent three years at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, graduating in 1986.^[7][8]

Career

Henderson got her first big break when Leonard White cast her as the lead in the children's television drama Shadow of the Stone on ITV. After this, she spent the majority of her twenties concentrating on performing a wide variety of roles in the theatre.^{[citation needed]} Early 1990 saw Shirley return to television screens when she appeared in the third series of the wartime drama series Wish Me Luck and Clarissa (1991). More stage work followed^{[citation needed]} before she landed the key role of Isobel in the popular BBC series Hamish Macbeth in 1995.
Henderson then moved into films, playing Morag in Rob Roy (1995) and Spud's girlfriend Gail in Danny Boyle's Trainspotting (1996). She continued her work in the theatre, including many productions at the National Theatre in London.^{[citation needed]} 1999 saw critically acclaimed performances^{[citation needed]} in Mike Leigh's Topsy-Turvy — which also provided an opportunity for her to show off her singing skills — and Michael Winterbottom's Wonderland.
She played Jude in both Bridget Jones films and Moaning Myrtle in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002) and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005). She was the oldest actress to portray a child's character in the films.
Shirley Henderson also played French princess Sophie-Philippine in Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette (2006).
Small-screen appearances have included playing Marie Melmotte in The Way We Live Now (2001); Catherine of Braganza in Charles II: The Power and the Passion (2003); Charlotte in Dirty Filthy Love (2004); Ursula Blake in the Doctor Who episode "Love & Monsters" (2006); Emmeline Fox in The Crimson Petal and the White (2011); DS Angela Young in Death in Paradise (2011); and Meg Hawkins in Treasure Island (2012). She played the lead role (Karen) opposite John Simm in Channel Four's Everyday and Meme Kartosov in Anna Karenina.
