hablado de la rivalidad entre madridistas y catalanes y piensa en que
las disputas entre ambos "deben quedarse en el terreno de juego"
Pirri,
quien ayer participó en Ceuta, su ciudad natal, en una serie de actos
junto al seleccionador nacional, Vicente Del Bosque, ha afirmado que en
esta campaña "ha habido una gran rivalidad dentro del terreno de juego"
entre estos equipos y que "luego han pasado cosas fuera del campo que
como deportista no gustan".
El exfutbolista ha recordado que "jamás en la historia" se han dado cuatro partidos tan seguidos entre el Barcelona y el Madrid como ha sucedido esta campaña y que ello ha motivado "una tensión muy grande, donde los nervios han estado dentro y fuera del campo, pero hay que pensar en la nueva temporada y que las disputas sean en el terreno de juego".
Pirri ha puntualizado que "el comportamiento de los jugadores de ambos clubes es bueno y se verá un buen comportamiento a lo largo de la próxima temporada"."Cada presidente tiene su forma de actuar y no soy quién para dar consejos, lo que me gusta es ver jugar y opinar sobre la forma de jugar de los futbolistas", ha destacado.
Sobre la selección española, ha apuntado que "no hay que creer que está todo hecho" después de que España sea actualmente campeona de Europa y del mundo, algo que, en su opinión "necesitaba"."Los jugadores actuales son de muchísima calidad y hay que seguir luchando porque la tarea que tenemos es difícil, pero la mejor selección actual del mundo es la española, sin duda alguna", ha subrayado.
Pirri, nacido en Ceuta en 1945, además de estar dieciséis temporadas en el Real Madrid como jugador, estuvo otras catorce como médico y cinco años más como miembro de la dirección deportiva.
